제목 Liver cancer diagnosis based on total serum protein fingerprinting using MALDI-TOF-MS
초록 As clinical tools for diagnosing cancer, ELISA or LC-MS-based methods have been conventionally applied. However, these methods are inappropriate for high-throughput analytical platforms because of inferior multiplexing capabilities, high development costs and long turnaround times. Here, we developed MALDI-TOF MS-based method for cancer diagnosis. Serum samples were briefly diluted with distilled water and then spotted on MALDI plates. Each of the integrated main spectrum profiles (MSPs) was generated by the MALDI Biotyper 3 software. The reliability of the integrated MSPs was successfully evaluated in a blind test set. This highthroughput method may be an effective platform technology for various cancer diagnosis and disease evaluations.
