Dissolution Behavior of Celecoxib Solid Dispersion by Using pH Dependent Polymer Eudragit E100 and Hydrophilicity Polymer PVP |

The object of this study is to overcome solubility of poorly water soluble drugs, we prepared solid dispersion containing particle of celecoxib for improvement of dissolution property by using spray dryer at room temperature. This solid dispersions was formulated to improvement of dissolution using Eudragit E100 and PVP (poly-vinyl-pyrrolidone). Prepared soild dispersion was analyzed by using SEM, XRD, FT-IR and DSC. This experiment demonstrate the influence of citric acid in dissolution rate. The in vitro release behavior of solid dispersion presented in simulated gastric juice (pH 1.2). The dissolution rate of celecoxib solid dispersion was dramatically higher than commercial drug (Celebrex). This studies suggest that this solid dispersion system improved the dissolution rate when pH dependent polymer and hydrophilic polymer were added in soild dispersion.
