Biocompatibility of poly(butylene succinate) ionomer and its Degradation |

Poly(butylene succinate) (PBS) ionomers have sucessfuly synthesized by employing two step condensation. Various characterization including thermal properties were investigated by DSC, DMTA and TEM. DEgradation behaviour of PBS ionomers were diversly investigated using spherulite and utra thin film and bulk polymer. The cellular interaction of PBS ionomers was studied by measuring the proliferation of human fibroblasts on the polymer films and polymer powder. The Biocompatibility from proliferation of cell showed potential possibility as biomaterials |
