Fabrication of Wrinkle-Based Metal Nanowire Arrays for Highly Omnidirectionally Stretchable Electrode |
초록 |
An innovative electronic device needs to possess highly and omnidirectionally stretchable electrodes. However, most researches have mainly focused on improving the stretchability in only one direction so far. We present a novel conducting layer made of metal nanowire (NW) arrays that are not only highly stretchable but also capable of being elongated in all directions. A PDMS template with 2 dimensioned patterns was used to fabricate the biaxially aligned metal NW arrays. The metal NW array on elastic substrate exhibited high stretchability up to 200% under a uniaxial strain and 120% under a biaxial one, without any critical degradation in its electrical conductance. Furthermore, the metal NW array film also showed the high stretchability under randomly chosen stretching direction. A sequential stress test revealed high robustness of the stretchable elctrode. A stretchable sensor for e-skin was demonstrated to confirm the application of our approach to soft electronics |
