제목 Synthesis and characterization of double walled hollow nanoparticles using surface layer-by-layer assembly
초록 In this paper, we introduce a three step; miniemulsion polymerization, condensation sol – gel method and thermal treatment synthesis of double walled hollow silica titania nanoparticles. The hollow silica nanoparticles were formed by sol-gel polymerization of TEOS precursor and calcination at 700℃ using styrene as template. Then another styrene layer was formed on the pre-synthesized hollow silica by miniemulsion polymerization. Subsequently, titania layer was formed on the hollow silica-styrene layer by polymerization of TBT precursor. Finally, the existing styrene layer was eliminated by calcination at 700℃ to obtain double walled hollow silica titania nanoparticles. The morphology and properties of the hollow nanoparticles were examined by TGA, FE-SEM, TEM and XRD.
