제목 Synthesis and photophysical properties of π-bridged porphyrin-coumarin conjugates
초록 Recently, development of new fluorescent dyes for biomolecular sensing have been attracted great interesting to many chemical and biological scientists due to its high sensitivity. We report the synthesis and photophysical properties of π-bridged porphyrin-coumarin conjugates via the acid-catalyzed cross-coupling condensation of coumarin aldehyde and dipyrromethane. The novel porphyrin conjugates were fully  characterized by 1H-NMR, MALDI-TOF-MS, UV-vis absorption and fluorescence emission spectra. Analysis of the fluorescence spectra indicate that there is energy transferring between the coumarin substituents and the porphyrin core in the excited states of the molecules. We discuss the effect of π-bridge and orientation between porphyrin and coumarin moieties on energy transfer efficiency.
