제목 Intrinsic electron transfer activity of RuO2 electrodes estimated using rotating-disk electrode voltammetry with non-interacting Fe3+/Fe2+ redox system as a probe
초록 Amongst the several conducting metal oxides, ruthenium dioxide (RuO2) in both crystalline and amorphous form has been recognized as an important material for a wide range of electrochemical applications, such as chloroalkali industry, photo-assisted of splitting of  water, water electrolysis, organic oxidation reactions, CO2 reduction, water disinfection, waste water treatment,  amperometric sensor for ascorbic acid, sea water CO2, glucose, H2O2, and as potentiometric sensor for integrated water quality monitoring, direct methanol fuel cells, supercapacitors. Despite the applications highlighted above, the fundamental intrinsic electron-transfer kinetics at RuO2 is still little explored. The present work addresses this aspect using Fe3+/Fe2+ redox system as a probe.
