제목 Preparation and drug release properties of UV cured thermosensitive allopurinol imprinted mungbean starch/PVA biomaterials
초록 The main objectives of this study are to prepare the allopurinol (ALP) imprinted biodegradable biomaterials using mungbean starch (MBS), polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), poloxamer, sodium benzoate (SB) as a photo-initiator and plasticizers. In order to verify the optimal condition of SB content and UV irradiation time for the preparation of ALP imprinted MBS/PVA biomaterials, mechanical and water resistance properties with SB contents and UV irradiation times were investigated. The results indicate that the optimal SB content and UV irradiation time is 0.3 g and 40 min, respectively. ALP release properties with the pH and temperature were investigated to apply as a transdermal drug delivery patch. From the results, it could be found that the release in high pH and temperature was better than in low pH and temperature. In addition, the ALP release on ALP imprinted biomaterials was carried out by using artificial skin.
