These days food packaging industry is used for polymer/inorganic nanocomposite materials (e.g. PVA/MMT). Nanocomposite materials have many advantages that transparency, barrier property, flexibility. The important factor of barrier property is to prolong food stability and storage period. The POSS was added to the nanocomposite in order to enhance the barrier property. In this work, we have tried to improved of barrier property by using POSS of different structure (amine, vinyl, urethane). The barrier property were investigated by Oxygen Transmission Rate(OTR), Water Vapor Transmission Rate(WVTR), Water Contact angle, Hazemeter, UV-Vis, FT-IR, Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC). |
