제목 Effect of Small Moleculare Electrolytes as the interlayer in Organic Solar Cells.
초록 In order to increase the performance of organic solar cells, We designed and synthesized simple non-conjugated small molecules called C4-OH and C6-OH as the cathode interlayer. C4-OH and C6-OH have quaternary ammonium bromide and hydroxyl groups(-OH), therefore interface between active layer and ZnO has formation of interface dipole which make easy to charge transport so performance of device will be increase. The work function of ITO/C4-OH and ITO/C6-OH are reduced from -5.0eV to -4.58eV and -4.62eV, respectively. And the work function of ZnO/C4-OH and ZnO/C6-OH are also decreased from -4.5 eV to -4.27 and -4.37 eV, respectively. The performance of pristine ZnO device is 8.74%, When PCEs of based on ZnO/C4-OH and ZnO/C6-OH are 9.35% and 9.21%. Moreover, The performance of device with ITO/C4-OH and ITO/C6-OH are almost same as the PCE of the device with pristine ZnO. As a result, OSCs with two small molecules exhibited enhanced photovoltaic properties.
