제목 Manufacturing and Characteristics of PLGA Nanoparticles Combined with Chitosan for Oral Delivery
초록 PLGA is a compound of lactic acid and glycolic acid, which is considerably biodegradable inside the body condition and the resulting monomer is easily metabolized and removed. The most widely used polymer in FDA-approved medicines and medical devices is PLGA. Minimum systemic toxicity is associated with PLGA drug delivery. PLGA nanoparticle in oral delivery system has many problems, including unstable particle and inefficient absorption in intestinal mucosa. To overcome these obstacles, Chitosan was coated into PLGA nanoparticle, which may lead to enhanced bioavailability. Chitosan-coated PLGA nanoparticle (CPNP) was prepared by w/o/w emulsion method. Its chemical structure was analyzed by 1H-NMR and FT-IR. In addition, its particle size and zeta potential were measured by DLS. Moreover, morphological property of CPGN was observed by TEM. Besides, cytotoxicity of CPNP was assessed by MTT assay.
