제목 Iron impregnated porous carbon based on strong electrostatic adsorption for removal of methylene blue
초록 Porous carbons from chlorella ellipsoidea ware prepared by centrifugation, freeze-drying and microwave activation. Strong electrostatic adsorption of iron was used to modify the prepared carbons.
The prepared samples were characterized by SEM, TEM, XRD, BET.
The adsorption equilibrium and kinetic data of methylene blue were fitted with isotherm and kinetic models, respectively.
We found that the iron impregnated porous carbons can be successfully applied for the removal of methylene blue.
