제목 단분자막을 이용한 Stereochemical Polylactides의 Stereocomplexation과 가수분해속도
초록 Poly(lactide) (PLA) has attracted a great deal of attention as a biocompatible, biodegradable, and bioresorbable biomaterial. Since Ikada et al found stereocomplexation between enantiomeric l-PLA and d-PLA, numerous studies have been performed for the crystallization, physical properties, crystalline structure of the stereocomplex. Here, we have investigated in vitro the alkaline and enzymatic hydrolyses of enantiomeric mixtures from l-PLA and d-PLA by using Langmuir monolayers and thin films. It was founded that the hydrolysis rate of stereocomplex-mixed monolayers from l-PLA and d-PLA was much lower than those of their homopolymers, regardless of degradation medium. The retardation of hydrolysis is mainly due to strong interaction between d- and l-lactide unit sequences, which prevents the penetration of water into the bulk. Also, a similar result was obtained from the enzyme-induced morphological trends of the mixed thin films.
