제목 | The Formation of Core-Shell Particles and Inorgarnic Hollow Capsules. |
초록 | Such core-shell particles can often be prepared by controlled precipitation of inorganic precursors on the core particles, in some cases assisted by coupling agent. A second approach is the layer by layer technique, in which successive layers of nanoparticles are deposited, alternated by layers of a ionic core polymer particles. Coating of nanoparticles with a layer of a different material is used as a mean to modify their surface chemical, reactive, catalytic, optical, or magnetic properties. The construction of nanostructured materials is an important area of research in modern materials science and of technological importance. The layer by layer technique, in which successive layers of cationic particles are deposited, alternated by layers of an anionic polymer. The modification of particle surface properties, which is often accomplished by coating the the particles or encapsulating them within a shell of a desired material. The formation of inoragrnic capsules via the dry impact blending approach requires the uniform depostion of nanoparticles in a close-packed array onto larger-size particles. Subsequent calcination of the nanoparticle-coated microspheres allows the production of hollow inorgarnic capsules. |
