There are several methods for the immobilisation of TiO2, such as Sol-Gel, CVD, Sputtering and Thermal Oxidation. However these methods are complex, high cost and weak adhesion with substrate. Also anatase structure with photocatalytic activity was not formed. In this work, Ti plate was anodized for formation of TiO2 film as photocatalyst. SEM results showed that pore size of TiO2 surface was increased with increasing applied voltage and concentration of electrolyte. Film thickness was determined by stability of TiO2 film in electrolyte. Also we observed that pore size and thickness of TiO2 film were not affected by applied current density. XRD patterns revealed that rutile peaks were appeared at 0.5M H2SO4, 150㎃/㎠ and 180V of applied voltage, the peaks formed at higher voltage and higher conecentration of electrolyte were raised. But most of crystalline structures of TiO2 film were uniform as current density was changed. Results of decomposing metylene blue, for investigating photocatalytic activity of TiO2, indicated 75% removal of methylene blue.
