Enzymic Hydrolysis of Brown-algae for anaerobic fermentation |

A renewable energy is researched with a view to preserving our planet from global warming. The Brown algae carbohydrate consisting of alginate, laminaran and mannitol is usable as high bio-ethanol production if hydrolyzed to monomer unit. The objective of this study is to produce of bio-ethanol from brown algae using total and extracellular enzymic hydrolysis from southern sea of Gijang. The most enzyme activation condition of alginate and laminaran for hydrolysis were determined 41.0,10.6 unit respectively. The maximum output of sugar concentration was obtained 1.90 g/L from Laminarin japonica 20 g/L that used total enzyme. Theoptimum pre-treatment is used to derive the ethanol production 0.93 g/L used Pachysolen tannophilus KCTC 7937. |
