Lignin as a one component of lignocellulose, huge amount is produced as a byproduct of cellulose bio ethanol and paper industry. In this study, using three different lignin (Ethanolsolv, formosolv, klason) from different type of wood understand lignin structure and related depolymerization. Different kind of lignin were analyzed TGA, EA, Nitrobenzene oxidation, FTIR and MALDI TOF MS for understand property of lignin. To reveal the relation between lignin property and depolymerization behavior of lignin, supercritical ethanol-formic acid at different temperature was used to depolymerization of lignin. In 350oC, depolymerization behavior of lignin is almost similar (conversion >95%, bio oil yield >90%). But in low temperature, depolyermerization behavior of lignin is highly depended on kind of lignin. Formosolv lignin still high conversion (92.2%) while klason lignin almost unreacted (conversion 15.4%). |
