Synthesis of New Dual Core Using Anthracene and Fluorene |

Many studies have investigated the use of anthracene, pyrene, fluorene as the core of blue emitting materials since they have high PL efficiencies. Unlike previous dual core studies, which consisted of anthracene and pyrene, in this study, antracene and fluorene were used as dual core. The two novel blue emission materials, TP-AnF-TP and TP-HAnF-TP based on type of dual core concept were synthesized. In the thin film state, the two synthesized materials exhibited blue emission. A non-doped OLED device based on TP-AnF-TP showed current efficiency of 3.16 cd/A and power efficiency of 1.38 lm/W. |
