제목 Greenhouse gas decomposition by non-thermal plasma technology
초록 Hydrofluorocarbons are widely used as solvents, refrigerants, foaming agents and pharmaaerosols, all of which result in emissions to the atmosphere. It has been considered as a potential green house gas due to its long atmospheric life time and strong absorption potential of infrared radiation. Several technologies are available for reducing the emission of such gases before release into the atmosphere. Among these, plasma-assisted catalytic decomposition seems to be one of promising candidates. There are so many factors affecting the decomposition efficiency such as catalyst type, applied voltage, gas residence time and additive gas like O2, Ar, etc.
