제목 Highly electrocatalytic calcium doped copper sulfide counter electrodes for quantum dot sensitized solar cell
초록 Here we report fabrication of highly electrocatalytic calcium doped CuS counter electrodes (CEs) for quantum dot sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) using chemical bath deposition (CBD) method. The structural, optical, and electrochemical properties of prepared thin films were explored with the help of different kinds of characterization techniques. A suitable amount of Ca-doping on CuS thin films enhances the photovoltaic properties. This in turn improve the photovoltage and power conversion efficiency of the solar cell devices. The electrochemical measurements indicate that the electrocatalytic activity of Ca-doped CuS thin films dependent on dopant concentration. Higher amount of doping alter the cell performances and decrease the photovoltaic performance of QDSSCs.
