In this work, the electrochemical measurement of lithium ion capacitor composed bygraphite electrode and activated carbon electrode was carried out to improve the energy density of the asymmetric capacitor, and the effects of the N/P ratio and coating thickness were studied.The electrochemical properties of lithium ion capacitors were characterized using charge discharge machine (MACCOR), impedance analyzer. The experimental results showed that the capacitances of lithium ioncapacitor were increased as the N/P ratio increased and the internal resistances were improved as the thickness decreased. Additionally, it was observed that the lithium ion capacitor capacitance increased over3 times than EDLC. |
