To develop spherical particles of multi-stimuli responsive hydrogel, we have prepared thermoresponsive hydrogel and magnetic nanoparticles composites. We aimed at reversible volume transition with temperature change, visible light irradiation or magnetic field. Magnetic nanoparticles of iron oxide were prepared by coprecipitation method, and followed by a two-step addition of primary and secondary surfactant. Reversible volume transition of the hydrogel and nanoparticles composite could be observed by external stimuli such as temperature, visible light, and magnetic field. |
