제목 Electromagnetic Interference Shielding Effectiveness of Polypropylene Nanocomposites Reinforced with Iron Oxide/Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes
초록 In this work, iron oxide (Fe3O4) nanoparticles were deposited on multi-walled nanotubes (MWCNT) by a simple chemical coprecipitation method in order to investigate the effect of Fe3O4-decorated MWCNT (Fe-MWCNT) on the electromagnetic shielding effectiveness (EMI-SE) of the Fe-MWCNT/polypropylene nanocomposites. The structural data and surface properties of the MWCNT and the Fe-MWCNT were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), respectively. Electric resistance was tested using a 4-point-probe electric resistivity tester. The EMI SE of the nanocomposites was evaluated by means of the reflection and adsorption methods.
