제목 Manufacturing and investigating bending micro actuator for active electrochemical device
초록 In this study, we could make a tube-type micro actuator system to have a great potential for active catheters and sensors by stacking nafion with a heat-compression method. In general, the bending displacement of the IPMC has a tendency to increase with its free length and the generating force of that is related to its thickness. The ultimate purpose of our study is the fabrication of a micro active actuator having the improved bending force with the adequate bending stiffness as modulating the various factors affecting performance such as its dimensions and electrode conditions. It is also important to optimize the manufacturing and minimizing process of the micro actuator for the flexible bending end tip. The properties of stacked nafion and micro actuators were investigated and characterized by EDS and FE-SEM. Force-displacement relationship of a cantilevered micro actuator was investigated.
