Ternary GO-PPy-Ag nanocomposite was prepared by interfacial polymerization method using pyrrole and graphene oxide and illustrated in Figure 1. The ternary GO-PPy-Ag nanocomposite structure was analyzed by Fourier Transform-Infrared Spectroscopy, Thermal Gravimetric Analysis, Scanning Electron Microscope and Transmission Electron Microscope. From the FE-SEM analysis, indicates the formation of highly exfoliated graphene nanosheets. From TEM analysis PPy-Ag nanocomposite particles uniformely coated on the graphene nanosheets. XRD and XPS analysis confirms the formation of GO-PPy-Ag ternary nanocomposite. The electrochemical capacitiance of the teranry GO-PPy-Ag nanocomposite was much higher than the PPy-Ag binary nanocomposite: analyzed by cyclic voltammetry and galvanostatic charge-discharge method. |
