Preparation of self-healable thermoplastic polyurethanes, and characterization of hard segment embedding aromatic disulfide |
초록 |
In this study, we designed and synthesized thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPUs) consisting of bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)disulfide (SS) as a self-healing motif. An aromatic disulfide bond was selected as the chemical operator to show S-S metathesis at room temperature without any heat or light. Hard segments embedding aromatic disulfide were varied to investigate self-healing and mechanical properties. |
