Preparation and Characterization of Isothermally Exfoliated Graphene Oxides |

In this work, we have investigated a new method for preparing exfoliated graphene oxides (EGO). Graphene oxide (GO) was synthesized by a modified Hummers’ method. GO was simply modified using a CO2 pressurizing technique to obtain exfoliated GO (EGO). The features and morphologies of EGO were observed SEM and TEM measurements. The microcrystalline characteristics were studied XRD. The textural properties were analyzed by N2/77 K adsorption/desorption isotherms. The hydrogen storage behaviors were investigated by volumetric method at 298 K and 100 bar. From the results, it was found that the large pores created by the unique structure of EGO were useful in improving their hydrogen adsorption capacities. |
