제목 Preparation and Properties of pH-Sensitive Hydrogel Semi-Interpenetrating Polymeric Network Microcapsules
초록 The microcapsule is one of the most useful devices to release active ingredient in more effective, longer, and safer manner. In this study, microcapsules were synthesized by emulsion-interfacial reaction. Hydrophilic polymers, poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and poly(acrylic acid) (PAA), were employed as the wall material of microcapsules. Semi-IPN structure kept not only a mechanical strength, but also possibility to show stimuli-response. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) proved the presence of the hydrogen bond in the Semi-IPN. Morphology and particle size were studied by optical microscopy and SEM.
