제목 Ordered mesoporous Fe-Ni mixed metal oxides for high temperature water-gas shift reaction
초록 Water-gas shift (WGS) reaction is important to produce hydrogen-rich reformates for a fuel cell application as a hydrogen production process. An ordered mesoporous Fe-Ni mixed metal oxide prepared by nanocasting method using KIT-6 was applied for a high temperature WGS reaction (HT-WGS). As-synthesized mesoporous FeNiOx displayed a higher catalytic activity and higher CO2 selectivity. The mesoporous structures of the FeNiOx prepared at an optimal Ni/Fe ratio of 0.25 were preserved with its original structures with less aggregations of active iron nanoparticles even after WGS reaction. The highly dispersed NiO in lattice of Fe2O3 forms strong interaction, which seems to be responsible for a higher structural stability by showing a higher HT-WGS activity as well as the suppressed methanation activity.
