제목 Analysis and Performance of Graphene Multilayer-Polyamide Hybrid Reverse Osmosis Membrane
초록 We studied about polyamide reverse osmosis membrane with functionalized graphene multilayer. Graphene sheet is charged by surface modification, and composed as multilayer by layer-by-layer self-assembly. This graphene multilayer is then positioned in various locations, such as on the polyamide or under the polyamide. And these various types of membranes are tested for flux and rejection performance by laboratory scale test apparatus and chemical resistance test is also undergone with same condition. Also, several analysis of membrane is performed such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy. From this study, we found that despite of various layer locations and layer numbers, graphene layer is effectively prevent degradation of polyamide by chlorine in all cases.
