We present the cesium lead halide based perovskite quantum dots (PeQDs) with their application for light emitting device (LED). The development of perovskite materials as photoactive materials for optoelectronic application, especially solar cell, LED, and lasers has been widely pursued because of their high power conversion efficiency and high color purity. Recently, these new type of materials could be synthesized in nano-sized regime to investigate their interesting phsyico-chemical properties such as quantum confinement effect. The resulting PeQDs exhibited remarkable optical properties including high quantum yield, easily tunable band gap, and high color purity. The fabrication of stable PeQDs of CsPbI3 is still challenging. Finally, the resulting PeQDs was applied to optoelectronic device which composed inverted structure such as ITO/ZnO/poly-electrolyte/PeQDs/MoO3/Ag. We could successfully realize red, green, and blue LED, demonstrating the surface engineering of PeQDs. |
