제목 | Fabrication condition of sulfur electrode with aqueous-based binder system |
초록 | Lithium-sulfur (Li-S) batteries has received a lot of attentions as promising candidates next LIBs because of their higher theoretical capacity, lower cost, and environmental benignity. However, several inveterate issues hinder its successful commercialization. Generally, the dissolution of soluble lithium polysulfide (PS) which generates shuttle reaction during cycling induces a rapid capacity decay and low coulombic efficiency due to the loss of active material and passivation of the anode. Additionally, high-loading of electrode should be fabricated for the realization of high energy density of Li-S batteries. Recently, aqueous-based electrode fabrication process has been focused on these days due to the environmental issues. Additionally, binder candidates with good PS affinity could be more favorable in the aqueous-based slurry system. From this point of view, we investigate the fabrication condition on the aqueous-based sulfur electrode. |
