제목 | Add Expandable Materials to Silicone Rubber with Inorganic Refractory Filler to Improve Fire-Resistance Performance |
초록 | We prepared an inorganic fire-proof filler on silicone rubber using a two-roll mill. Moreover, expandable materials were used as a synergist to improve fire-resistance performance. In this work, the fire performance of a Glass fiber(GF), Aluminium trihydroxide(ATH), magnesium hydroxide(MDH) Expanded vermiculite(EV) or Expandable graphite(EG) silicone rubber composites were investigated and analyzed for fire-resisteance performance and mechanical property. It was confirmed that EG/SR composites have better fire-resisteance performance than EV/SR composites through gas torch flame test, thermogravimetric analysis(TGA). GF/SR composite that can be effectively dispersed in silicone rubber shows great mechanical properties through SEM, UTM.
