Fe Based Magnetic Materials as Future Gap Magnets |
초록 |
Rare earth magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnets made and are integral to the high tech industry, particularly in clean energies, such as electric vehicle motors and wind turbine generators. The high price of rare earth materials and the imbalance in supply and demand are expected to continue to be a stumbling block to the utilization of rare earth permanent magnet in related industries. Iron based magnetic materials with metastable phases have been suggested as a one of the most promising candidate for a future rare-earth free permanent magnet due to their advantages such as abundant amount of Fe on the earth and its large saturation magnetization. Here, we have introduced various iron based magnetic particles with metastable phases and shapes. This strategy to prepare Fe based metastable magnets would pave the way for the industrial production of for the future gap magnets. |
