Ionomers with high neutralization degree which have excellent performance of durability, elasticity, impact strength and chemical resistability were prepared by increasing acid contents of ethylene acrylic acid copolymer(EAA) resin incorporating acid group additives. EAA resin containing 15wt% acid group and acid group additives were mixed to the mole ratio of 1:1 and then, second extrusion was performed at 230℃ using twin screw (size: ø30, L/D=40). By-product generating at reactive melt processing was removed using vacuum pump. The preparation of EAA resin with 30% acid group were confirmed by FT-IR analysis, indicating NH stretching vibration at 3300cm-1 and NH bending vibration at 1650cm-1. |
