Using the Monte Carlo Ising model, we investigated the kinetics and microstructural evolution during the coarsening of two-phase metal systems. We observed that the averaged size and shape of ligaments depending on the simulation temperature and volume fraction. And we compared to Ising model with field and without field. When applied field, we observed the ligament with volume fraction (30~50%). On the other hand, without field, we observed the ligament only 50 percent volume fraction. Also, with spin change mechanism, kinetic behavior of the microstructural evolution varies, average size of the microstructural feature being proportional to various values of growth exponents. |
