Graphene-based materials have attracted considerable attention because of their unique properties such as the excellent mechanical, optical, and electrical properties. These materials may find applications as field-effect and ultrahigh-frequency transistors, ultrasensitive sensors, electromechanical resonators, and mechanically reinforced composites. In this study, palladium nanoparticles with POSS (Pd-POSS) were produced from the reaction of palladium(Ⅱ) acetate and octa(3-aminopropyl)octasilsesquioxane octahydrochloride (POSS-NH3+) in methanol at room temperature. Poly(acrylic acid) (PAA) was covalently grafted on the graphite oxide sheets by layer-by-layer self-assembly. The hybrid nanocomposites of Pd-POSS and PAA-grafted graphite Oxide were synthesized by self-assembly method through the ionic interaction between positively charged Pd-POSS and negatively charged PAA-grafted graphite oxide. The characteristics of hybrid nanocomposites were investigated by various analytical tools |
