Recently, perovskite solar cells based on 1D and 3D TiO2 and ZnO has been investigated and demonstrated 13.45% and 11% conversion efficiency respectively. In this investigation, we have studied in-situ hydrothermally grown exotic nanostructures of rutile TiO2 for efficient solid state perovskite sensitized solar cells. In our process nanorods and nanoflowers provide effective much surface area, good perovskite adsorption and penetration depth. Our results revealed that the hydrothermal processed hollow nanoflowers exhibits photocurrent density of 19.05 mAcm-2, voltage of 0.985V, and fill factor of 0.70, leading to >13% conversion efficiency under the simulated AM 1.5G one sun illumination. |
