제목 Synthesis of novel fluorinated Methacrylic Copolymers and their thin film properties: Facile Fluorination of Hydroxyl Group. 
초록 The effect of nonafluoro-tert-butyl (NFtB) groups which containing three identical trifluoromethyl groups are explored in this study. NFtB groups are incorporated in to the Poly(methyl methacrylate-co-2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate) copolymers by mistunobu - fluoriation method which shows very efficient conversion rate (>98%) under mild condition. To investigate the series of novel fluoropolymers, quantum chemical calculations were utilized to interpret the unusual film properties. In addition, the effect of the fluorinated NFtB moiety on the surface composition, intermolecular distances, and mechanical properties of polymer films were broadly explored in this study.
