제목 | Synthesis and Properties of Anion Exchange Fiber by E-beam Graft Polymerization of GMA and subsequent Amination |
초록 | The demand for ion exchange fiber has been increasing due to serious environmental problems caused by industrial and household waste water. To solve this problem, high performance fiber can be produced that monomer with ion exchange groups are introduced on the polymer substrate. Glycidyl methacrylate(GMA) was grafted from cellulose by radiation graft polymerization, leading to epoxy functionalized surfaces. The opening the epoxy rings of the fiber can result in differentiated properties and higher performance, due to the fiber was chemically bonded with amine or phenolic hydroxyl groups. In the study, ion exchange fiber was prepared by grafting of GMA onto cellulose to the pre-irradiation method using electron beam. Sequential treatment with diethylenetriamie(DETA) was performed to react with the anion pollutants. |
