제목 Properties of HTPB based PU containing chain extender as ferrocene diol
초록 Polyurethanes (PUs)are thermoplastic elastomers having many applications such as coatings, binder resins, fibers, and etc. These polymers are distinguished by excellent mechanical properties as well as a wide spectrum of properties. Numerous hydroxyl-terminated polymers, such as polyesters or polyethers, were used to synthesize Pus. HTPB is a polyol that has been often used for the synthesis of PUs networks. In this study, a polyurethane elastomer was developed using hydroxyl terminated polybutadiene (HTPB), diisocyanates, and ferroceen diol as chain extender. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), and universal testing machine (UTM) were used in this study.
