제목 Tailoring Porous Structures of Ceramic Scaffolds for High Mechanical Properties using Digital Light Processing
초록 Porous ceramic scaffolds have been used for bone scaffolds owing to its biocompatibility and interconnectd pore structure for tissue in-growth. However, the porous scaffolds have a lower mechanical strength than natural bones, so it leads to unexpected destruction.
In this study, we fabricated the gyroid structures which have elongated pores by digital light processing (DLP) process to improve the compressive strength. The ceramic slurry is composed of CaP as the ceramic powder, monomer, dispersant, photo-initiator, and diluent. Our lab already presented the photocurable ceramic slurry using solid camphor as novel diluent for conventional DLP process. According to this study, we use the camphor to make the slurry which has low viscosity.
