제목 Study of Mesoporous Cobalt-Cerium Oxides on the Preferential CO Oxidation
초록   Hydrogen, the fuel of PEMFC, is produced via the reforming of hydrocarbons and water-gas shift reaction were contains 0.5vol % - 2.0 vol % CO, which can poison Pt anode. Therefore, the concentration of CO must be reduced to below 100ppm .
  It is known that the preferential oxidation (PROX) of CO in H2-rich is the simplest and cost-effective routes for the removal of CO in H2. For the catalysts, the Co3O4 was known to exhibit good catalytic performance for the oxidation of CO by O2 at lower temperatures. And the cerium catalysts recognize as a promoter cobalt oxide.
In this present work, we were syntheized mesoporous Cobalt-Cerium oxide catalysts by using nano-replication method from mesoporous silica template of KIT-6. The catalytic activity for PROX of mesoporous Cobalt-Cerium oxides exhibit high catalytic activity compared with single mesoporous Co3O4 . And when Ce content was 10 volume percent, the catalysts showed best catalytic activity due to high content of Co3+ and electron transfer between Co and Ce oxides.
