Study influences of crystalline TiO2 nanotubes on the selectivity of photocatalyst for conversion carbon dioxide (CO2) |

In this study, CO2 was used to break the chemical bond of Ti-O-Ti in result of recrystallization. TiO2 nanotubes were prepared by an alkaline based hydrothermal reaction in a convection oven and their structural morphology was studied through the field emission scanning electron microscope and the X-ray diffractometry. This atomic transition was observed by in-situ transmission electron microscope using a gas injection holder. Grain transition of polycrystalline TiO2 nanotubes with selectivity of CO2 adsorption, the transformation into single crystalline phase and the conversion of crystalline defects such as oxygen vacancies and voids can be investigated for the photo conversion of CO2 into methanol selectivity through recrystallization of TiO2 nanotubes. |
