제목 | Synthesis and Electrochemical performance of Olivine-type LiFexMn1-xPO4 for Li-on Battery Cathodes |
초록 | Olivine-type LiFePO4 cathode material has advantage of price economics, high thermal stability and eco-friendly. but this is limited of the high-performance electric vehicle (EV) because of low voltage due to low energy density. In this study, high voltage olivine LiFexMn1-xPO4 by varying the ratio of Fe substituted for Mn are synthesized by ball milling method. Below for equipment was used to measure the characteristics of the physical properties of synthetic LiFexMn1-xPO4. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to measure the surface state, X-ray diffractometer (XRD) was used to analyze the structural characteristics. Also produced a coin-type cell, the electrochemical properties were evaluated. That test are electrochemical redox behavior according to charge and discharge characteristics, impedance, high-rate charge and discharge characteristics. Through this study, There exist two plateaus around 3.4 and 4.1 V on both of their charge and discharge curves, while the substitution of Fe for Mn. As a result, the high voltage charge/discharge plateaus of the synthesized cathode material by conventional LiFePO4 cathode material than that. |
