제목 | Fluorine doped tin oxide nanoparticles for theelectro-reduction of CO2 to formate |
초록 | Carbon dioxide, the most commonly seen carbon material innature, can be converted and stored into various useful materials through anelectrochemical reduction. Among them, formate can be used as a precursor formany compounds. There are several catalysts used in the electrochemicalreduction reaction that converts CO2 to formate. In this study, we adopted moreefficient catalysts by synthesizing fluorine doped tin oxide. Through the TEM imageand the EDS mapping image, it can be seen whether the particles are welldispersed visually. As for the performance, fluorine doped tin oxide catalystsgenerally showed good performance compared to SnO2 at high overpotentials. Inaddition, it has been proved that the FE does not drop significantly even in a7-days of single-cell experiment. These results clearly offer the optimizeddoping level for doped tin oxide catalysts, which should be informed for designof tin oxide based materials as a catalyst for CO2 reduction reaction. |
