제목 Self-healing polymer nanocomposites based on vanadium disulfide (VS2) nanosheets and polyurethane
초록 Self-healing polymers are a class of smart materials that mimic the autonomous healing behavior by detecting damage and commencing self-repair mechanisms without the need for external damage detection or manual intervention. Alternatively, two dimensional (2D) metal dichalcogenide (TMD) layers have received considerable attention owing to their unusual properties. In this report, we describe the synthesis of vanadium disulfide (VS2) filled polyurethane composite material using bis (4-aminophenyl) disulfide as dynamic crosslinker. Structural and morphological characterizations of the synthesized polyurethane polymer nanocomposites are done using FT-IR, TGA, XRD, SEM and TEM. Finally, the mechanical properties of the synthesized composites are determined, which showed quantative healing efficiency, without the need of any catalyst or external intervention.
