제목 Synthesis and Self-Assembly of Thiophene-Based All-Conjugated Amphiphilic Diblock Copolymers with a Narrow Molecular Weight Distribution
초록 Thiophene-based polymers are most popular and attractive conducting polymers for various applications of plastic electronics such as transistors, solar cells, and sensors and synthetic method for well-defined structures of P3HT was recently studied to the self-assemble nanostructure. McCullough and Yokozawa independently reported the quasi-living Grim methathesis polymerizion (GRIM). From this technique, all conjugated diblock copolymer could be synthesized in one pot and a few examples were demonstrated which were mainly focused on characterization of polymers. In previous result, we demonstrated that all conjugated amphiphilic diblock copolymer with narrow distribution could be self-organized by solubility difference. Here, we report a series of amphiphilic (P(3HT-b-3EGT)) polymers was synthesized via GRIM polymerization and demonstrate optical and electrochemical properties of diblock copolymers with different block ratios and self-assembly with kinetic and thermodynamic ways.
