제목 SEMI-INTERPENETRATING POLYMER NETWORK (SEMI-IPN) MEMBRANES COMPOSED OF ORGANISILOXANE BASED HYBRID NETWORK AND sPEEK FOR DMFC
초록 A semi-interpenetrating polymer network (semi-IPN) proton exchange membrane was prepared from the sulfonated poly(ether ether ketone) (sPEEK) and organosiloxane-based organic/inorganic hybrid network (siloxane hybrid network). The siloxane hybrid network was synthesized from 3-glycidyloxypropyltrimethoxysiane (GPTMS) and 1-hydroxyethane-1,1-diphosphonic acid (HEDPA). The semi-IPN membranes prepared were stable up to 300 oC. The methanol permeability was much lower than Nafion 117 even under the addition of siloxane hybrid network. The proton conductivity of semi-IPN membranes increased with increase of siloxane hybrid network content, and the membrane containing 20% siloxane network showed even higher conductivity than Nafion® 117. The DMFC cell performance of semi-IPN membrane with 24% siloxane hybrid network was 80 mW/cm2, which is almost the same as Nafion 117 membrane.
