제목 | New and commercially attractive process for the production of 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furfural |
초록 | In the mission of replacing the fossil fuel based carbon by renewable biomass, many efforts were going on for the production of high value feed-stock chemicals like 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furfural (HMF). In this research, we have investigated reaction conditions which obtain maximum production yield of HMF from industrially-manufactured sugars. Of many solvent systems which we have tried, we choose the system which shows the best result and we use bead type solid acid catalyst. From adoption of this heterogeneous acid catalyst system, we could suggest reuse of catalyst through recycling test results and it is more effective than any other processes using HCl when reaction scale is increased. |
